Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer

Tyler Marshall is a seasoned banking professional with over two decades of experience, known for his expertise in building banks from the ground up, driving digital transformation, and mentoring the next generation of banking leaders. As Executive Vice President, Chief Operations Officer and Advisory Director at PrimeBank, Tyler plays a key role in shaping the bank’s operational strategy, customer experience, and technology initiatives.

A Texas Tech University graduate with a degree in Marketing, Tyler found his passion for banking while working at Wells Fargo during college. He then spent 13 years at Lubbock National Bank, where he rose through the ranks from Personal Banker to Vice President of Operations, managing branch teams, streamlining operations, and leading the development of the bank’s mobile banking platform. Over the years, he has been mentored by some of the best in the industry, including Eddie Schulz, President of Lubbock National Bank, and PrimeBank’s own Tanya Miller and Bobby Priestley, all of whom helped shape his approach to leadership, banking operations, and relationship-building.

Tyler has had the rare opportunity to help launch multiple community banks in the Austin market, an accomplishment that speaks to his deep industry knowledge and ability to build strong, scalable banking infrastructures. At PrimeBank, he has reengineered information security, core processing, and online/mobile banking, ensuring that customers have cutting-edge, secure, and seamless financial tools at their fingertips. Beyond operations, mentorship is a cornerstone of Tyler’s leadership. He takes great pride in developing top-tier bankers, many of whom have gone on to become subject matter experts and industry leaders in their own right.

Deeply rooted in the Westlake community, Tyler has spent over a decade building strong relationships with local businesses, organizations, and families. He has been instrumental in strengthening PrimeBank’s involvement in the Westlake Chamber, the PrimeBank Chap Card, tailgates, golf tournaments, and Wonderfest, fostering meaningful connections between the bank and the people it serves.

Relentless in his pursuit of excellence and pathologically organized, Tyler is known for his ability to keep track of every detail while maintaining a big-picture vision. His leadership at PrimeBank is driven by his commitment to innovation, community engagement, and meaningful relationships—core values that fuel the bank’s growth and strengthen its lasting impact.

Outside of work, Tyler enjoys happy hours, cheering on Texas football (he’s a huge fan by association!), and spending time with his husband, Chris, and their beloved cat, C.J. Cregg. He thrives on connecting with people, whether professionally or personally, and believes in showing up as his authentic self in every interaction.
